Driveway

A driveway is a private road that serves as an access way to one or more structures, typically providing a path from a public road to a private residence, garage, or parking area. It is designed to accommodate vehicular traffic for the residents and their guests and is usually situated within the property boundaries of a home or business. Driveways can be constructed from a variety of materials including asphalt, concrete, gravel, cobblestone, or brick, depending on aesthetic preferences, functionality, and budget. The design and size of a driveway may vary, ranging from simple and straight to elaborate with multiple curves or turnarounds, often reflecting the property’s layout and the owner’s needs. In addition to its practical function, a driveway can contribute to the overall curb appeal and value of the property, and may include features such as gates, lighting, and landscaping to enhance its appearance and utility.
